As a woman, I encounter men that believe women are not called to do God’s work as in leadership. The bible says in Acts 2:17-18,
“In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy”.

God speaks to men and women and He gives dreams and visions to both. God certainly used women prophets in the Hebrew bible and in the New Testament. We are also clearly told that God pours out the Holy Spirit on all people. When God spoke to me about ministry, He did not say minister only to women. Nor did He tell me that because I am a woman, I must agree with a man when he is wrong. Where I draw the line is ministering to men about manhood. I am not called or equipped to mentor to men nor should men mentor women. I am a teacher and a Minister of the Gospel. The Gospel of Jesus is the same for men has it is for women. Don’t allow anyone to vilify the calling, vision or dream that the Lord has put in your spirit.
