It is a charismatic movement whose primary emphasis is on the pursuit of health and wealth; which it claims to be obtained through ‘positive confession’.

The Word of Faith movement actually destroys faith because it is based on the power of your words instead of the power of God. Many Word-Faith teachers claim that since we are made in God’s image we are “little gods”. As ”little gods” we can speak things into existence and God MUST obey our words. Teachers of this movement say that we should all be healthy and wealthy. They claim that this is biblical and if we are not, then we don’t have faith in our words. They ignore scriptures like;

Rom 5:3-4 – “More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope,”

Jam 5:16 – “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.”

Heb 13:5 – “Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.””

Eccl 5:10 – “He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves wealth with his income; this also is vanity.”

Protect your ear gates. Read the word for yourself!
