There is one attribute of God that Prosperity preachers teach Christians need to exercise. In Romans 4:17, it says, (as it is written, “A FATHER OF MANY NATIONS HAVE I MADE YOU”) in the presence of Him whom he believed, even God, who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist.

This scripture is about Abraham the father of all and the promise.

This scripture says that God can call things as “though they were”. He can declare a sinner to be righteous even through they are not by imputing His righteousness to them. God gives life to the dead and speaks of things that do not yet exist as already existing. We see that with Abraham and Sarah. Although they were not dead physically, they were childless and beyond the age when they could have children. But God called it to happen and spoke the child’s destiny.

I hear many people say we, “Christians” can call things into existence, or “speak as though they were”. Can we produce that new BMW with our words or a never-ending cash flow with the action of the tongue? Yes, there is power in our words; we can uplift or destroy with our words and we can call on God to intervene, but we cannot make something materialize just because we speak it. Stop listening to this false doctrine and read to word for yourself!
