As a Deliverance ministry we are often confronted by the Spirit of Leviathan. Leviathan is a principality that can be very difficult to remove. He is very smooth and intelligent and those that have him will not be able to recognize this spirit within. Leviathan destroys relationships and targets ministries to destroy using pride, accusations, lies and distortion. He is after the leadership but will sometimes start with the weakest link of authority. We have had this Spirit attack our ministry more than once and each time the individual would not see it or refuse to acknowledge. Leviathan is known as the

Spirit off Pride, but other than pride here are some of its traits,

  • a critical, faultfinding spirit
  • slander and accusations
  • miscommunications and misunderstandings (word twisting)
  • superiority, haughtiness, boasting and arrogance
  • rebellion and distortion.

When Leviathan comes, he usually brings with him Python who will squeeze out your blessings and Jezebel that will encourage sexual sin and control your desires.  He cunning and will do major damage if not casted out.
