We all agree that at times we receive a thought that you know is evil or sinful.  How do you deal with the thought?  Do you accept the thought as your own and act on it, or, do you try to dismiss the thought knowing that it is wrong?  If you take that thought captive and not act on it, you have acknowledged that the though was not totally you.  If so, there would not have been a battle in your mind to dismiss it.

But sometimes the evil does prevail.

When it does, do you later regret your actions, or do you try to justify your behavior?  If you regret your actions, take responsibility and make amends, realizing none are prefect.  If you try to justify your behavior knowing it was wrong, you have more issues than acting on a sinful thought.
