HINDERING spirits come in many forms to block us from operating at our best for the Kingdom of God and delays us from fulfilling His plans for us or worse case causes us to back slide. It becomes difficult to worship, pray and read scripture. Suddenly life becomes difficult and everything seems to go wrong. Attacks come through deception and worldly issues – chasing relationships that fail, false burdens and commitments, yearning to be popular and being at too many events, conflict in marriage or at work, rebellious children, financial burdens, sickness, accidents, fleshly temptations and distractions.

These hindrances could cause us to eventually become ineffective and burn out. We have the authority through Christ to speak to these hindering spirits and bind them up and drive them out of our lives (Luke 10:19, Matthew 18:18). Like Jesus said in Matthew 16:23 “get behind me Satan”. We ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to us what is blocking or hindering us and God will reveal it through spiritual discernment. Plead the blood of Jesus over every area of your life to stay covered and protected from these attacks.
