There are about 100 passages in the Bible that address Salvation. Of those 17 (NASB) identities a condition that must be satisfied before being saved. The perquisite to Salvation is to “Believe”.

Without “Belief” there is no righteousness and no salvation.

  • John 11:25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies,
  • John 11:26 and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?”
  • Joh 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
  • Joh 5:24 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.
  • Joh 3:36 “He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”
  • Joh 8:24 “Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.”
  • Joh 8:31 So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine;
  • Joh 8:32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
  • Rom 4:5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness.
  • Rom 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
  • Rom 10:10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
  • Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
  • Rom 3:20 because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin.
  • Rom 3:21 But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,
  • Rom 3:22 even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction;
  • Act 16:30 and after he brought them out, he said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
  • Act 16:31 They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
  • Mar 16:16 “He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.
  • Gal 2:16 nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified.
  • 1Pe 1:8 and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,
  • 1Pe 1:9 obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls.
  • 1Jn 5:13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.
  • 1Jn 5:14 This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
  • Eph 1:13 In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise,
  • Eph 1:14 who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.
  • 1Co 15:1 Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand,
  • 1Co 15:2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.
  • 1Co 15:3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
  • 1Co 15:4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
