Today Lord, I need You more than yesterday.

I woke up this morning and realized that I may not be as strong.

As always, I ask that You order my steps. Let your light shine in and around me as a protection against all darkness; Your word is the Lamp under my feet.

I know I live by faith, not by sight, and not by circumstances, but today, I need you more than yesterday.

Lord, help me put on my Armor today;
As I put on my waist the Belt of Truth that lifts me up and establishes the word of God, make sure I wear it securely with confidence and determination.

Fortify my Breastplate of Righteousness, that protects my heart and soul, from evil and deception.

Shod my feet in every situation, with a peace only You can provide.

Cover my Shield of Faith with the blood of Jesus to quench every attack of the enemy. There is nothing more powerful than the blood.

Reinforce my Helmet of Salvation from every vain imagination; for no weapon formed against me shall prosper.

Remind me to use the Sword of the Spirit, offensively to cut down strongholds and defensively to fight every attack of Satan. This is a spiritual battle and must be fought with spiritual weapons.

Today, I take authority over my life. I declare I will not be defeated, discouraged or depressed.

Father as we take control today, I also ask that You bless my hands, my mouth, my heart and my steps. Bless me so I can be a blessing to others and a testimony of You.

Lord I trust You, so I thank you in advance for giving me more of You today than yesterday.
