Earnestly seek Him, the GOD OF LIGHT’ and you will find Him. God wants a relationship with each and every human but doesn’t force it on anyone. He has given everyone a free will. Many people know of a creator or believe there is one, but few know about Jesus or who this creator is. One young Indian Hindu from a rural village in India was told that the God of light comes to eat food left outside their house at night when all are asleep. One day this young man waited to see who this was and found rats eating the food. This disappointed him. He kept searching and looking and various people, priests and many others, pointed him to human incarnations, animals, creatures and even objects as god of light. This young man was desperate to see, to know and find out, as all those were all created and not the creator. One day he thought to end his life and lay on the railroad track to be run over. In desperation he cried out saying ‘God of light, if you are real, reveal yourself or I’m ending my life’. Suddenly an extreme bright light came blasting through and a voice said ‘I am the God you seek, the God of light, I am Yeshua (Jesus). This young man’s life transformed from there on. He went on to set up many social avenues for the poorest of poor, women, the weak and also setup many churches and preached the gospel to the un-reached in India.

If we whole-heartedly seek Him, He will reveal Himself to us. God created mankind for a relationship with Him. We don’t need to wait until eternity to see that happen. We can enter into a relationship with Him through faith. It’s like a man and women coming together in marriage simply saying ‘I do’, making a pledge to be united in relationship. We can pray a simple prayer, ‘Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins, I receive your forgiveness, come into my heart, I want to have a deep relationship with you Lord’, and just like that we start a journey of ‘life’, an abundant life as Jesus promised in John 10:10, via a relationship with Him. Just like the Hindu youngster, we can find Him as we earnestly seek Him. The God of Light, Love and Life!
