Why ETM?

Exposing Truth Ministries (ETM) was founded to help those that are tormented and in bondage by the same enemy that Jesus warned us about. Throughout the New Testament, Jesus cast out demons and healed the sick. Jesus told us the reason He came was to destroy the works of the devil and He paid the price for our freedom and healing. The sad realization is that many of us are still in bondage, not knowing where to turn to for help.

Many years ago I was one of those individuals. I went from being a successful business women and entrepreneur to someone who was broken with many demons tormenting my physical and mental health. I desperately sought answers and help, but my family and friends ridiculed and rejected me. My husband tried to commit me to a mental hospital but could not since my children had experienced the demonic activity as well. I was heartbroken, alone, and felt totally defeated, not knowing what was happening to me. The thoughts about ending my life was with me day after day.

In my early upbringing in a church, we avoided discussing the devil, spirits, demons, and repentance. Because of this, I believed in Jesus but did not really understand the reason He died for us.

I visited many churches seeking help only to be turned away because of theology or non-belief. Seven dark years of torment preceded my discovery of a Katy, Texas church that welcomed, taught me about “Spiritual Warfare”, and supported me in my battle. I made a vow to God that if He would deliver me from the torment of the enemy, I would spend the rest of my life helping others who had the same circumstances as I did. So in 2000, I started Exposing Truth Ministries.

Since 2000, I have seen the Lord heal and deliver many broken individuals that had had depression, anger, rejection, sexual perversion, torment, suicidal tendencies and many other strongholds. In 2013, ETM officially became a non-profit 501c3 ministry. We, at Exposing Truth Ministries, not only address healing and deliverance, we understand the importance of counseling and mentorship. This ministry is unique in this respect. We teach people to be empowered, to overcome the enemy, and to get their lives back. There are many people suffering from mental and physical harassment of the enemy.

Some don’t understand that they are in a battle, some are too ashamed to seek help, and others just do not know how and where to turn for help. I have kept my promise to God, but as this ministry grows, we need financial support. There is a lack of knowledge and understanding concerning the ministry of deliverance, thus funding is limited. ETM survives totally on contributions of donors and partners.

As one who understands what it’s like to be broken and then restored to freedom, I implore you to pray and ask God how you can help Exposing Truth Ministries. ETM continues to serve not only those in bondage but also to increase knowledge and awareness of the enemy’s lies and works.
